Body type codes

The body type of each vehicle is specified by a code - here's what they mean:

The first character of the code indicates the body type:

B Single-deck
C Single-deck coach
Dp Dual-purpose
H Double-deck highbridge
L Double-deck lowbridge
O Open-top

The seating capacity is given next.  For double-deck vehicles the upper deck capacity is shown first, eg 39/32 indicates a top-deck capacity of 39 and a lower-deck capacity of 32.

The final character designates the entrance position:

C Centre
D Dual (eg front and centre)
F Front
R Rear

If a double-deck rear-entrance vehicle is fitted with entrance doors, a "D" follows the entrance code.
