What happened at this event?
Commercial Transport in Preservation's seventh annual road run from Bournemouth to Colerne, staring at King's Park, Bournemouth and terminating at RAF Colerne near Bath, where vehicles were displayed from late morning onwards as they arrive.
A wide range of historic commercial vehicles attended. The Bristol Vintage Bus Group operated a free park and ride bus service on the site using vintage buses FTT704 and RT1599. The threat of thundery weather meant that we didn't take our open-top vehicle, GHT127. In the event, the weather remained fine.
